Material used for printing
Our printers use a UV-curable photopolymer resin that allows us to produce high-resolution, full-color 3D prints with smooth surfaces and detailed textures.
During the printing process:
The model is built layer by layer using colored photopolymer resin
A wax-like support resin is printed around the object to support complex shapes
After printing, the support material is removed during post-processing with water
We we do not use PLA or ABS type materials
PLA and ABS are typically used in FDM-style desktop printers, where plastic filament is melted and extruded through a nozzle. While these materials are suitable for many applications, they cannot produce the same level of color detail and surface quality as Mimaki full-color printing.
